Joanne Nunn, MSc (OT), OT Reg. (Ont)
Joanne graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2004. Two years later, she obtained her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy.
As a practicing Occupational Therapist since 2006, she has served the community by evaluating clients' level of functioning in areas of self-care, work, study, volunteerism and leisure. Her scope of practice also includes making recommendations, as an independent consultant or in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, regarding client discharge, home or school management, transfer to alternate programs, integration into the community or return to work.
She is in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a member of The Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. She also sits on the board of directors for The Brain Injury Association of Waterloo Wellington. In 2009, she started her own Occupational Therapy company, Options Therapy.
She believes in a healthy work-life balance. When not travelling, she can be found exercising at the gym or taking her dog Monty for a walk.
