Job Site Analysis
A Job Site Analysis is a comprehensive and objective assessment of job tasks. A description of the essential job functions is provided as well as information on the work environment, work tools, and working conditions.
The assessment involves:
- A detailed employer/client interview to develop a thorough and accurate understanding of job responsibility and essential tasks of job
- Observation and objective measurements of work activity surroundings
- A physical demands analysis to identify postures, movements, forces, repetition, loads and other physical demands of each job task
- Observations of the client's current ability to perform the job
Recommendations are given regarding the steps that should be taken to facilitate a timely and successful return to work. Suggestions are made for specific work related items that will enhance work performance and return the client to their previous functional working level.
